Any Ideas?

Now is the time of year that we are looking high and low for great new music to arrange for our group to learn. Do you have any suggestions? What are your favorite songs?

Wisconsin!

We left home Saturday morning, heading for Dubuque to spend several hours enjoying the town before leaving Iowa and driving into Platteville Wisconsin for our evening program. The Calico Bean in Cable Car Square, one of our stops, was home to a rainbow array of sprinkles of which they sell 500 pounds annually. Besides sprinkles, we looked at green bean chips, rows of spices, and hoards of candy, each of us children choosing a flavor of honey stick such as sour raspberry before leaving for another shop. Sampling Italian cuisine and finding a few keepers at a used book store were a couple more highlights of our afternoon. Our concert in Platteville went well Saturday evening.

Abigail playing “How Great Thou Art”

Silas and his flying fingers on his solo, “Rondo”

When we had lost our way on the trip home, we enjoyed the historic architecture, even if we happened to come across the same houses 3 or 4 times!
